The River Club in Suwanee, Georgia is a spectacular luxury gated 650 acre nature reserve Atlanta country club community and was created amongst virgin hardwoods and pines next to the Chattahoochee River. Roadways wind carefully around existing trees as do the hiking and nature trails along the river and throughout the protected forest and five lakes. If you love nature walks and fishing, the 1.4 mile Chattahoochee River Trail at The River Club will be a favorite destination.
The mountain-resort inspired 32,000 sq. ft. clubhouse called The Lodge sits on one of the highest points in the community to offer spectacular views from its nearly 10,000 feet of outdoor areas with screened porch, verandas, pavilions, event lawns and more. The Lodge offers casual to gourmet dining, golf, massage therapy, game nights and more to its members and is the heart of this amazing Atlanta community.
The Sports Center features an aquatics complex with four separate pools, including the junior Olympic pool, zero-entry pool with water features, 150-foot triple loop water slide and a toddler's splash pool. A state of the art fitness center offers nautilus, ellipticals, recumbent bicycles, treadmills and other challenging equipment, along with two flat screens and even personalized training. There are eight lighted Plexipave hard courts with covered viewing area. The River Club was awarded Georgia Professional Tennis Association’s "Facility of the Year" (2006).
With more Atlanta homes still being buil heret, this unique exclusive community offers a lifestyle of peacefulness and tranquility to its residents. There are some 370 home sites on 650 acres. Architect and Builder Guilds were established to execute home design concepts that would best complement the natural environment. Homes predesigned by architects and builders selected by these Guilds are available, or you can work directly with the builder and architect to custom design your dream home on your selected luxury golf homesite. The Atlanta country club home prices here range from $850k to $6m, and homesites start from the mid $200ks. Initiation fee (as of this update) is $32,500 refundable with monthly fees of $510 for Golf and Sports Center access, and $270 for Sports Center only.
