Why do some homes have no photos?

After listing a property, it can take a few days to a couple of weeks for photos to appear on the listing service depending on if the agent uses his own camera, assigns a representative from the listing service to shoot them, or pays an outside photography firm.  It's generally the newest (most recently added) listings that have no photos, but there are some listings that may have few or no photos attached because the home simply cannot support quality photos (e.g. poor condition, unpopular paint colors, unkempt, etc.) or for other reasons like privacy or security.
