Dunwoody Real Estate and Dunwoody Homes for Sale

About Dunwoody, Georgia

Dunwoody rides on both sides of the Fulton/Dekalb county line. Just 10 miles north of Downtown Atlanta, Dunwoody has the feel of both the city life and the suburban life all in one package. The people of Dunwoody live near the exuberant Sandy Springs to the west, the ever-popular Roswell to the north and then the arts, the eateries and the nightlife of Buckhead and Downtown just minutes away to the south.

With one of Atlanta's biggest problems being commuting time and much of that problem being the bottlenecks trying to get across the beltway, Dunwoody has an edge. Sitting right on top of the northern I-285 commonly called "the perimeter," there are many more "back street boogies" to get across 285 to make your way to the city center. Areas of Dunwoody closest to the "400 corridor" (GA 400) have often shown some of the highest appreciation in the Atlanta real estate market.
